4 Ways for Wholesalers to Keep Motivated During the 2022 Holiday Season

The countdown to the holidays has begun!

Or rather, it began way back in September for various retailers.

But for the rest of us, the start of November signals thoughts of what we’ll be doing for Thanksgiving and when we should start shopping for Christmas.

Let’s be honest though – in the back of your mind, you’re also thinking how you’re gonna get all of the things for your business done before then?

As we get closer and closer to the holidays, keeping motivated is hard for someone not running their own business, so how do wholesalers handle getting everything checked off their to-do list?

Well, here’s a list of four things that I use to handle it! One of these ways is a personal invitation for my training challenge, so stick around for that!

4 Ways to Keep Motivated for This Holiday Season

Keeping motivated during the holidays is really hard. It’s easy to get distracted with family and friends, holiday sales, and finances.

But you don’t have to completely stop your holiday fun, as long as you know how to prepare yourself to get through them.

Meditation/prayer for your mindset

I’ve said it time and time again – having the right mindset is essential for anyone in business and really, for your life in general. When you think about the positive, positive things are going to happen.

Now for me, meditation and prayer have worked wonders for my life and the goals I’ve set for both personal and business.

If prayer isn’t your thing, that’s okay!

But I would absolutely recommend doing meditation to focus your mind on what you’re trying to accomplish. It can really help lower those anxieties while centering yourself.

Time blocking is key

When you’re running a business, there doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day to get anything done. We’ve all been there, for sure, but it always amazes me how effective and productive we can be when we use our time more efficiently.

That’s where time blocking comes in. Time blocking is exactly as it sounds – blocking out time to do something that you need to do.

For example, if you know you want to reach out to 10 agents for the day, block off time to do that; depending on where you’re doing agent outreach, keep in mind their time zone in relation to yours so you aren’t calling people in the middle of the night.

Double down on your KPIs

Key performance indicators, or KPIs, help track your path toward your goals. These are of course all dependent on what it is you’re trying to reach as part of your wholesaling business.

To go with the above, if you want to connect with 50 realtors for the month, then that’s what you need to do.

If you haven’t reached your KPIs for November, this is a great time to set aside some time and get that done.

Take the Training Wheels Challenge

Lastly, if the thought of having to talk to a bunch of people makes you uncomfortable, then I have just the thing.

Starting today, I’m holding the Training Wheels Challenge, a 3-day event where I’ll be helping those of you take off those training wheels so you can become a full time agent outreach master.

It’s free, so if you need help on the phones or just want tips on getting better, don’t miss this challenge.

The holidays don’t have to be challenging, at least not business wise, and if you take these 4 techniques into consideration, these last two months of the year will be awesome.
