Many wholesalers struggle when it comes to finding properties and sellers, especially if they’re new and just getting started.
The biggest issue, of course, is where to find those properties.
Driving for dollars is a quick and easy solution and so is creating a list, but how blown would your mind be if I told you there was not only a better way to find properties in your area but can actually triple the deals you find and the money you make?
Jamil, I am listening!
If you’ve been following along with the blog for a while or subscribe to my YouTube channel, then you know that I love the software called Privy.
What is Privy and What does it do?
Privy is an amazing piece of real estate software that searches the MLS – or the multiple listing service – that real estate agents and brokers use and is kept up to date so that the listings are done in real-time.
Now, I know what you’re thinking – another piece of software to learn? I’m too busy! I have a business to run!
Believe me, I get it.
I am not a fan of having to know more technology but trust me when I say that learning how to use Privy is a must if you want to find and close deals on a consistent basis. It has been a huge game changer for both my business and those of my Astro student members.
And one such member, John Galan, was a rock star recently by doing a complete walkthrough not only on how Privy works, but how to use it effectively to get the most out of it:
In this two-part series, John goes through the basics of Privy and what tools are included. Now, the important part of this is to understand that just because Privy has a lot of options, you don’t have to use all of them.
One of the big reasons we’re using Privy in Astro is because the software has wholesalers in mind; by that, I mean that it’s easy for new and seasoned wholesalers to get started utilizing the system and to customize it to what our goals are.
Not a lot of tools will allow that, so means Privy gives you a lot of flexibility, not just as a wholesaler, but as a fix and flipper, as a buy and hold investor, etc.
