You’ve finally, finally decided to jump into wholesaling.

Congrats!

And you’re pumping away, doing your agent outreach, doing some acquisitions, doing some dispositions, and you’re doing, doing, doing, but what happens at the end of the month?

You’ve only gotten one or two deals. Maybe you haven’t even gotten your first deal.

So now you’re frustrated, you’re at the breaking point, and really considering if this was the thing you should be doing.

Guys…you’re not alone in feeling this way!

Many of my student members in Astro have gone through this, and certainly, I’ve gone through this myself. When you start to do too many things, with little to no results, you start getting discouraged.

But what if I told you the secret to your success, the secret yummy sauce to get your back to wholesaling goal was just two things?

Jamil, I’m ready!

What is the hidden secret that will propel my wholesale business into the atmosphere like a rocket heading to Jupiter?

Just two things – consistency and positive thinking.

And I know what you’re thinking – that’s it? That’s the two things I need?

Not a magic wand or secret potion?

It’s funny how we, as humans, tend to do all the complex and complicated stuff when the simple answer is always the best. We tend to think that we can do everything ourselves, but the opposite is true.

Always remember what it was that got you paid the first time and be consistent with it.

By that I mean, if you started with doing wholesale acquisitions, then continue doing that; if you’re wanting to do several things at once – acquisitions, dispositions, scaling, etc – then you’ll get into a situation where you spread yourself too thin.

And then you lose sight of what and why you’re in the business in the first place.

Consistency is always, always the key to anything you’re doing, especially in our business, as consistency builds up our knowledge, our skills, and our connections.

Having a positive mindset is the other one.

If you’ve been following the blog, you know I’m a big, big believer in the power of our minds and how the thoughts we have impact what we do in our daily lives.

Again, it’s easy to get discouraged when things seem bleak, but if you put out good vibes into the universe, the universe will respond with goodness back.

So go out and be consistent!

Remember, just because you’re doing one thing today, doesn’t mean you’ll do that same thing tomorrow (unless, of course, you enjoy that thing); it’s okay to ask for help and to utilize another person’s skills to supplement your own.

Do something great today and you’ll get something great tomorrow!
