How to Use AI Technology to Streamline Your Wholesale Business

Everyone is talking about AI – AI this, AI that, AI, AI, AI.


Sheesh!


The world of AI is the new shiny object that everyone’s scrambling to play with.


From the ChatGPTs to the Bards of Google or whatever new invention that crashes onto the scene before the end of the year.


And of course people are talking about the technology overlords arriving and taking over.


Now before you start freaking out about ‘big brother watching us’, what people have seemingly missed is how we should be using technology to help make our lives better and more importantly, easier.


AI can be extremely useful, especially for those of us in the real estate investing space.


What we should be doing, instead of freaking out, is using this powerful technology to streamline our businesses.


How to Use AI to Streamline Your Wholesale Business


Using AI can dramatically cut down on the time and energy you spend when running your wholesale business. This starts with using automated systems to better streamline your operations – Privy, BatchLeads, Zillow, CRMs, etc.


Guys, I can’t tell you how much time this has saved me simply by automating the ways in which I find properties, rather than just driving around aimlessly for hours like I used to.


Look, there’s nothing wrong with driving around looking for properties, especially when many of us spend so much time in our cars now….but if you’re doing that instead of using the above tools, you’re missing out on the ability to connect with even more agents, buyers, and investors.


Take email marketing automation services, for example.


Can you imagine sending out the same email, to 20, 30, 40, or even 50 people and manually having to put in their email address, typing up the email address, over and over?!


No thank you!


Software services, like MailChimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or Keap, make this process simple, quick, and easy. They can help keep track of the people you contact, whether or not their email is correct, and how often they open your messages. They can even help you send targeted emails to specific people or geographic locations.


And that’s just email – imagine the ability to use technology to handle a good portion of the background operations so you can do what you do best.


One of the most incredible AI projects I’ve seen to date is the Astro Blaster.


One of my AstroFlipping members, Andy Rong, created software to help streamline his growing business.


See, Andy is currently in high school and with class and other school activities, he couldn’t just call or even answer requests from buyers or agents.


So he created the Astro Blaster as a way to help automate this portion of his business so he could still grow and scale, without running into danger of not finishing high school.


We actually discuss the whole process, along with a few other AstroFlipping members, how they’re using the tool and what it’s done for them:



When Andy created this software, he thought he was the only one having this issue, but many members of the AstroFlipping community struggle to balance growing their wholesale businesses with doing their other business.


Several members still have their 9-5 jobs and do wholesaling on the side or want to get to a point where they can transition from their corporate positions to just doing wholesaling.


But as you and I know, life is rarely that easy.


We all have commitments that pull us every which way, but that’s what makes AI so powerful - because the technology is evolving and learning, we can use it as an additional partner in our business.


For Andy and others, his software gives them the ability to still do agent outreach without having to disrupt certain hours of their day.


Now, with all of that said, please don’t think AI can just take over your business and you never have to talk to another human being ever.


That’s not how this works.


Again, AI is an additional tool to use in your arsenal to streamline your processes; it’s not an excuse to not have conversations with others or not grow your relationships.


At the end of the day, we’re still responsible for making those connections with agents, buyers, and other investors.
